Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to explore the link between an organisation’s learning capabilities and its
capability to deliver innovative projects aligned with market needs.
The research was conducted following a case study approach using several sources of evidence and
resulted in expanded theoretical framework by identifying underlying factors constituting exploratory and exploitative learning capabilities. Furthermore, the study highlights that organizational culture has a significant impact on learning capabilities and an agile approach to performance management.
The results provide support to practitioners working with exploratory and exploitative learning in order
to be innovative and adaptive to changing market conditions.
